Located on Denarau Island on the beach, the Westin Denarau Island Resort is set amongst 30 acres of lush tropical gardens and palm tree plantations, right on the beachfront.
The resort was extensively renovated in 2006 and rebranded from the Sheraton Royal Denarue to the Westin reflecting the properties upgraded status.
There are 278 room, located in low 2-storey buildings dotted around the gardens and along the beachfront. The décor is authentically Fijian with rattan furniture and tapa cloth canopies, maintaining the genuine island feel. Each room offers 1 King or 2 Queen beds, ensuite bathroom with double vanity, bath/shower, hairdryer and robes, air conditioning, 32" TV with satelite and movie channels, radio/alarm clock, IDD telephone, in-room safe, tea & coffee making facilities, iron & ironing board, writing desk and chair, chaise longue and private furnished balcony or patio.
The Westin is part of Fiji's only 5-star integrated resort complex and guests have access to all of the facilities at the adjacent- Sheraton Denarau Villas, Sheraton Fiji and the Denarau Golf and Racquet Club. This gives you access to 4 swimming pools, 18 bars and restaurants, offering numerous dining options to suit any palate, an 18-hole golf course, 10 tennis courts, extenisive watersports and several beaches, all with stunning views. You can also experience and take part in any of the daily activities and cultural shows and entertainment at any of the integrated Resorts.
One point to note is that the resorts beach is fine black sand, not a white or yellow one, which if you are not already aware of, can come as a surprise to some visitors.
Please note, this property will be starting a refurbishment of 94 of the guestrooms in 3 phases, commencing phase 1 on 28th March through to 28th April 2011, phase 2 from 29th April through to 7th June 2011, and phase 3 from 17th October to 28th November 2011. Work will be confined to small sections of rooms at any one time, and should not adversly affect other guests or any facilities in the rest of the Resort.
This FJ$1.3M refurbishment is the beginning of a FJ$5m renovation of all 273 rooms over the next 3 years. As we have further information, we will update this page accordingly.

Child Policy
Children of all ages are catered for, children 12 years old and under stay FREE when they share the room with accompanying adults and use the existing beds.

Round trip airport transfers rates are £29 per person.
The resort is approximately 20mins from the airport.

Standard check-in time: 3.00 pm
Standard check-out time: 11.00 am
Early check-in: will be charged at the full nights cost.
Late check-out: up to 6pm is charged at 50% of the full nights
rate. After 6pm is charged at the full nights rate.
Fiji has one of the best air service connections of any of the islands in the Pacific.
Air Pacific, Fiji's national carrier, provides a daily service to Sydney and Auckland and up to six times a week to Los Angeles, with frequent flights to Brisbane and Melbourne. Air Pacific also provides regular services to the neighbouring island nations of Tonga, Samoa, Vanuatu, Kiribati and the Solomon Islands. Further afield it operates twice weekly flights to Hong Kong.
Korean Air operate three flights a week between Seoul and Nadi. On the southbound flights from Seoul a direct connection can be made off Korean Air's daily London-Seoul flight. However, on the return flight, a night stop will be required in Seoul, as the flight timings do not permit a same day connection.
Air New Zealand operates daily to/from Auckland with connections to its double-daily flights to London, either via Los Angeles or Hong Kong. Air New Zealand also operates a codeshare arrangement with Air Pacific providing seats on their non-stop Nadi-Los Angeles flights.
Virgin Blue operate a regular service from/to Sydney, with connections to many other Australian cities.
Air Cali operate twice a week between Noumea and Nadi. Currently Air New Guinea operate a twice a week service from and to Port Moresby via Honiara.
Pacific Sun, Air Pacific's domestic airline subsidiary, operates an extensive domestic flight network covering all the countries main islands, with at least a daily service. The main northern islands receive at least two flights a day and some times more, the less populated islands get a restricted service, so sometimes a night stop in Nadi or Suva may be required when connecting between some of the less popular islands.
A number of the outer Island Resorts operate their own dedicated daily flights, to transfer their clients from Nadi to the resort and back, using either fixed wing commuter aircraft, seaplanes or helicopters. Further details of these will be given at the time we provide our quotation.
