A soon-to-be 5-star Resort Hotel just a few minutes from the airport and will be the largest on the island.   Offering 75 rooms, a swimming pool, restaurant, bar, ocean views and is undergoing a complete renovation to become a contemporary Eco resort, fully opening in October 2010.

 

The new complex has been designed to be as eco-friendly as possible, using the latest technology to save water and electricity, which is generated on site by microturbine, and minimise noise, pollution and electromagentic fields, whilst recycling as much waste and water as possible.

 

Rooms and Suites are large & spacious and are located in 11 ocean-front and garden low-rise buildings.  Inspired by caves, they are decorated in a contemporary Pacific style, with smooth organic curves,  dark cypress wood, natural volcanic stone and cream decor.   Each room contains a handmade couch daybed and desk, handmade clay bath & shower,  music system, mini-bar and private terrace with ocean and garden views.

 

There is a large split-level bar and Poerava restaurant, overlooking the gardens and the Pacific, again decorated with beautiful dark wood, natural volcanic stone and cream decor and furniture.  There is also a bistro and relaxing lounge and a poolside bar serving cold dishes and cocktails.

 

For relaxation, there is an expansive Spa complex, winding landscaped gardens and terraces, cinema and large landscaped pool area with sun loungers.
